From my initial visit, my experience way definitely an awesome one. Natasha at Reception was very welcoming and accommodating. Navi the Physical Therapist was very patient, very clear when giving instructions and explaining the goals of the exercises given. The environment as a whole is a very warm, comfortable one. Keep up the good work. I even recommended to my son that he should switch to JAG MARINE PARK🙂

Hi team/ everyone,
Originally started to take my mom there for therapy. My mom under went two hip surgeries and is currently 74 years old. From the time we made the appointment to come in, the staff at jag have not only been accommodating but they have been nothing short of amazing. From the front desk, to the therapists everyone has been great. Thank you so much for not only assisting my mom but me too(as I know go there as well.)
Can’t stop stressing it enough. Great people that actually help you and are not there to bill your insurance they are there to give you the help you need and will figure it out after.

The front desk employees are pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. They will work with you in arriving at the best possible schedule. I did PT there and the PT assistance are amazing. They are professionals in every aspect. The therapist are second to none, from 2018 when I was first introduced to jag until now I have no regrets. Everyone treat the patients as family.

Jag 1 in general is known for not being good physical therapist and that the people who work for them are unprofessional or treat you like they’re just putting you through a mill.
This location, however, had higher ratings than others and so I thought to give it a chance at least for the one time and I could decide for myself. Nope. The negative reviews for this place about the front desk are beyond true to the extreme.
I was racially profiled as a Black woman sadly, by the young Black girl at the desk(shameful), and the south east Asian physical therapist.
They even went so far as when another client a white woman came in behind me to gossip about me audibly while I was sitting in the chair waiting, and when I confronted the young girl at the desk and told her how unprofessional that is, she didn’t even deny it and was just like the woman asked me what happened so I answered her and then was like that woman herself was like oh you’re the nicest person here these things never happen with you.
So she’s openly being unprofessional and using herself gossiping about a new patient -Who is in chronic pain by the way - like this isn’t a nail polish appointment. We’re coming to PT because our doctors have sent us here- to defend her behavior as opposed to being apologetic at any point.
After traveling 45 minutes just to get there, I asked to speak to the physical therapist, hoping she would be better, but she continued the same thing of telling me that she would help me with my intake and I said fantastic. Let’s do it. But instead of just doing it proceeded to give me a long lecture about how I was fortunate she was doing this for me and this is not supposed to happen and then when she’s doing my medical intake, which is for nerve pain that’s in my hands from cervical spine issues handed me her laptop and told me to type it out myself and then got impatient when I said no. Like it’s not my job to be the secretary for the physical therapist?
She also got annoyed when she asked for my medical history and I said I have bilateral chronic pain and she was like what does that have to do with why you are here today, and I was like I’m trying to tell you and she interrupted me and pulled up my referrals and told me what they say which I know and she’s like what does this have to do with your back and I was like I’m literally trying to tell you you keep interrupting me.
Anyway, even though I traveled all this way and have a 45 minute travel home this kind of tone deaf aggressive, abusive behavior, and especially since I’m a very calm, nice person and they were just treating me like I was hostile and aggressive because I am a Black woman and the stereotypes about Black women(which is shameful because on their website, the manager for this location is a Black man), so obviously I’m not gonna put my medical care into the hands of two people being hysterically aggressive and gaslighting me that I am being hysterical and aggressive. 🤦🏾♀️
Do not come here if you want to be treated with kindness, and you are of a certain hue! Also, the fact that when you have any kind of reviews on here, even if they’re negative, no one actually replies to apologize or defend it as you’ll notice - instead someone could say something horrible happened to them and they just respond with a copy paste, message thanking people. Everything you’ve heard about Jag 1 is true, and this location is no exception.

Great clinic, high energy staff, and has an amazing clean environment. OT staff was so supportive and I can’t recommended enough. The aides were so kind and helpful especially Jasmine! She’s was very supportive during my evaluation. Highly recommend!

I can truly say that I had a life- changing experience at JAG Physical Therapy. I want to show all my appreciation and gratitude to my awesome, and very special physical therapist, Dr. MARTEL PERRY, who worked so diligently to accomplish the desired outcome for my well being. I loved the way weekly exercise techniques were structured to my diagnosis. At the end of my treatment, I left feeling pleased that improved movements, restorative function, and optimal health was accomplished. Furthermore I can resume my daily life activities and especially my past time craft activities, that I couldn't do with my hands before my exercise treatment.
Lastly, I want to thank all the staff and receptionists that help to make JAG the successful, friendly, loving, clean and pleasant working and treatment environment it is. I have no regrets making this Center my choice of care.

I've had a great experience at JAG! The staff is friendly and efficient and the progress in my injury has been amazing. Not only am I feeling better, I'm learning more about how to long term care and maintain my body. It's really been a great experience, my only regret is not going earlier.

I usually DO NOT stick to PT because I genuinely do not see results right away and get impatient, but my PT Martel helped me obtain results from the 2nd session. I was driving home and it dawned on me that I was not in any pain or discomfort !! That lasted until the next day, I will keep attending my sessions in order to get stronger and relieve my back pain!!!! I most definitely recommend JAG PT.

I have been having Occupational Therapy with Maxcita, she is one of the best OT's Brooklyn possesses. She is knowledgeable, professional, caring, trustworthy and is passionate about her work. As one can observe, she is not in the profession for the money, it's the love she pours into doing what she loves. She puts every ounce of effort into her work and wants the best outcome for her clients. I pray ? you Maxcita, nothing but God's best in your continued love for OT.

Victoria and Joe are excellent therapists at JAG One. Both Victoria and Joe were friendly and patient with my adolescent son while they worked with him on important exercises and activities. They also provided him with exercises to complete at home and constantly provided me feedback as to his treatment and progress. Would definitely recommend both therapists, Joe and Victoria.

That is a really great place to get occupational therapy with director Maxita, therapists Brianna and Kristina.They put their best in helping improve the condition of my hands. Their professional knowledge, experience and kind attitude help a lot to get faster improvement in the hands. Thanks a lot for a wonderful and very clean place, polite and friendly front desk stuff and eagerness to help every patient like me.

Joe and the staff at JAG One Marine park are fantastic. I have received such excellent care there while recovering from a terrible car accident. They give each client the specific attention needed to tend to their injuries while building a caring, professional relationship.

Everyone from the receptionists to the support therapists, all the way up to the Director Maxcita Alvarez, the Director of Hand Therapy... everyone is excellent. I've been a patient and watched them work with others who are not at their best and the staff at JAG have always had excellent decorum. The facility is newly renovated and clean. I highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Any questions you might have they are answered. If you have a problem with the exercise where it is difficult to do they will modify it for you. I would recommend JAG Physical Therapy to everyone.

The best place you can go to to heal. Their staff is really professional and impeccable and they don't make you wait they are always on time. They are really understanding. They have amazing front staff that great you with positive energy. There is this girl named Hadia that is just a beam of energy and is really positive when you walk in its really pleasant. In the evening there is this girl named Luz maria that is really helpful and understanding . There PTs are amazing they treat you with respect make you feel comfortable in your own skin. Def a judge free zone. I would recommend both PTs in the morning Joe and Ann they are great people. Did I mention if you drive they have parking right in front of there office.
