I damaged my Achilles heel tendon & was not able to walk a full stride without constant pain.
I honestly thought I was going to have to tailor my life to one of less physical activity because I'm a 'senior' now.
My podiatrist suggested JAG physical therapy on Monmouth Road in Ocean township. It's a great space, very clean, spacious & fully equipped. The entire group of folks working at this facility are warm, knowledgeable & friendly.
Upon meeting my physical therapist, Michael Santamaria, I was beyond pleased with his expert knowledge and direct approach for my healing and recovery plan. Sarah was also a wonderful therapist, always there for me, guiding, encouraging & correcting my exercise. Dolly at reception is lovely and unforgettable.
They are a wonderful group of folks & you can tell they all enjoy working there. I went to PT diligently for a few months & I'm thrilled to say that I've recovered & am better than I ever expected to be. Although I'm moving on from JAG physical therapy, I like that I can easily implement and integrate the exercises I learned there into my workouts at my gym. I highly recommend JAG physical therapy - I had a great experience there.

Everyone from the reception area to all of the physical therapists are very kind and pleasant. They take the time to listen and ask questions regarding endurance. Its is so very nice to receive respect, managed care/therapy and to feel very comfortable with the physical therapy provided. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Star Rating! I am so happy I chose the Oakhurst location. CHRISTINA is GREAT as are ALL staff members! Great job JAG!

If I could give JAG Physical Therapy in Ocean, NJ 6 stars, I would. From the moment a patient walks in and is greeted by Raquel & Dolly in reception the experience is everything a patient could want from a physical therapy practice. The PTs, (Mike, Ana & Christina) along with the PT Assts.(Sarah, Julia & Chris) are skilled and attentive professionals available to guide, assess progress and answer any and all questions. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and supportive. That said, like any other healthcare practice, regardless of the physical space or the equipment, it’s the staff who ultimately make both patients and a practice successful. Never more so than at JAG PT in Ocean, NJ.

Mike, Sarah and all the staff are excellent. My family and I have been coming to this facility over many years. They take their time to get to know your needs, never push you beyond your limits and support your healing process. Desk staff always friendly and willing to accommodate and help you with scheduling. All of the physical therapists and therapist assistants are kind and wonderful!! They devised a great plan to get my shoulders and knees back in shape. Every exercise is demonstrated and explained thoroughly and modified per my needs of the day. I really feel listened to here, which I believe adds to my healing success. And - it’s a joy coming to such smiling faces!

With a caring & friendly demeanor they listen Intently to the issues you present. From there they craft a regime particular to you.
Each day you work on areas of the body and muscle groups you were unfamiliar with. Yet I have seen considerable improvement within 3 sessions. I have always witnessed individuals arrive on crutches and return walking unassisted.
You must be willing to put in the work and time, this is not a spa or masseuse. It's focused medical care to return your body to its proper functioning condition.
As Michael once said "your body will accept pain and make it the norm" JAG re-educates the body to accept the proper norm, and it's worth it!

I highly recommend JAG! My daughter broke her leg in 2 spots and needed PT for 3 months after recovery. Mike and the entire team were amazing with her and every patient I witnessed while we were there. It's a great, inviting family environment. Would definitely go back for all our PT needs!!!

Mike runs a great space for recovery from whatever issues you have....i have tried pt many times before with no success because i was never challenged.i think mike has eyes in the back of his head because he corrects your position from wherever!!!
I am feeling stronger after each session and look forward to returning. All the staff is knowledgeable ... the space is sanitized after each client so no worries.

I really did not want to go for therapy but my hand hurt so bad with osteoarthritis and bone spurs. I pushed myself to go and I’m having amazing results! JAG Physical Therapy is Top Notch and would highly recommend! Staff is so friendly and courteous very professional!

The experience at JAG has been nothing but great so far! The therapists are present throughout your appointment, which is not the norm other places and they all have such great attitudes. They seem committed to your progress and they change up the routine each time. Angela, Tara, and Mike have been excellent!

Kind front desk staff! Angela is an awesome physical therapist. She is very knowledgeable and efficient with attention to detail. Mike is also a great physical therapist and helped me recover from my injury quickly. I was more than satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend both mike and angela to friends and family. I will return for further treatment for any new injuries requiring physical therapy

In February, I began physical therapy with Angie and Mike at JAG One in Oakhurst, after breaking my back and having a spinal fusion in December. Their regimen of therapeutic stretching and treatment have increased my mobility and movement amazingly. Admittedly, I began pt as a skeptic, since previous physical therapy experiences produced little improvement. However, my time at JAG One has been extremely productive; they push me hard, but I am feeling real progress! I thank everyone at this caring facility and highly recommend it!

I’ve been a regular patient here since 2012, and have been treated for several conditions and injuries throughout the years. My son also received treatment here for two different sports-related injuries. Mike and Angie are simply the best physical therapists around! They are kind, caring, patient, compassionate, motivating, and stay current in their field. They listen and adjust their treatment plan based on your needs. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with insurance. You truly are treated like family here. I would not consider going anywhere else for physical therapy!

I have been coming to this facility for two years and love it! Mike and Angela are so positive! They were able to design treatment for my knee replacement and hip replacement that helped me to be stronger and more flexible. We set goals and modified them as time went on. Any exercises that I had trouble doing were modified to meet me where I was at but yet to challenge me to go forward. Once Covid struck, I took a break. When I returned I was happy to see that the health and safety of the staff and clients was a high priority . Surfaces are cleaned immediately and masks are worn by ALL at ALL times. I have no fears about resuming my therapy because of this. Currently I am working on improving the mechanics of my knee and Mike and Angela welcomed me back and put me to work. My son also attends for his back and loves it. It is a great facility, clean and comfortable, and a great atmosphere to rehab any problem. The office staff is so friendly & helpful in dealing with insurance and they make you feel so welcome . I highly recommend JAG One in Oakhurst!

Mike and Angie are not only the Best physical Therapist but they treat everyone like family. Vanessa is so sweet in the office greeting you as you come in and making sure that whatever your needs are she does everything she can to accommodate you in your scheduling. I can not say enough good things about them. They treated my daughter for her shoulder, Then me for my shoulder and now my wife for her back and soon for her shoulder surgery. By far the best PT I’ve been to. From the first day I realized that they’re different than all the other places .They actually wanted to help me. They don’t put you through the motions they actually strive to teach they’re patients and that’s what I really love about JAG. Angela mike and jimmy you were all awesome I appreciate the work you put in to make me feel better!!
