JAG physical therapy does a spectacular job. I recently had a total knee replacement and needed help after the procedure. I got a very strong recommendation from a neighbor and then I find out that a total of six individuals from my adjacent block or two are currently at JAG.
What strikes me about the place is that there is a expertise among key practitioners and they push you as far as you can handle without breaking you. And they give you exactly the type of feedback that you need. I had a pro at JAG say to me “you’re not making progress.” This was exactly the information that I needed and it was a kick in the rear to expand what I’m doing. Rarely have I encountered a place that was so focused on results as opposed to just going through the motions.
When in doubt, go to JAG for your physical therapy needs and you’ll be thrilled with the results as they are all of my neighbors.

Plenty of staff. Patient care appears very good quality and the “patient’s needs” appear to be a top priority.
I have “drop foot” from a tendon tear from a traumatized tibia and trying to get any decent “quality of life” back is challenging and even painful. This PT imoo is the best option I seem to have right now. My lifestyle appears to be changed forever. This PT option is imoo a quality service and much appreciated. Just seem to have to be “proactive” in my own recovery.

I was having so much pain in both my shoulders and after going to Jag the pain was no longet an issue. My therapist was excellent. He put me through a range o exercises that not only help the pain but enable me to manage and motivate me to deal with the issues at hand. His massage technique was great. I have been going to JAG Physical Therapy for quite a while now, and I must say it has truly been a wonderful experience.
While I think Jerome is the BEST therapist at JAG, that certainly does not take away from the others because they are all excellent at what they do. Every therapist there brings their own unique technique and professionalism.
However, I would like to highlight my therapist — Rashi. She is an excellent therapist. There are days when I arrive in a lot of pain, and she takes her time massaging and stretching me until I feel much better than when I walked in. I really appreciate her techniques. She works magic with her hands, and her warm smile lets you know she truly cares about her patients.
Rashi encourages you to take your therapy seriously by doing your exercises at home and by coming to therapy regularly and ON TIME. Because of that encouragement, I work hard in therapy, and I am seeing results. I am in much less pain now.
Thank you to Jerome, Rashi, Pravalika, Chinmay, Nidhi, and Prabnoor for all the great care. I am a worker’s compensation patient, so I have not worked directly with Tetyana and Yoselin, but I have seen them with their patients and they do excellent work. Wonderful therapists indeed.
As you can see, I have been a patient at JAG for quite a while (for several body parts!). Each therapist has their own techniques, and while you may choose a favorite, you actually get the most out of your treatment by working with all of them.
For example:
Jerome will have you feeling like you could run a marathon when he’s done working on you. The laughter alone will reduce your stress levels — his hands are magic. Jerome aka healing hands. My mom, Diana, who I recommended to Jag can also attest to this.
Chinmay gives some of the best exercises for pain and always suggests great exercises to do at home. He is so cool.
Pravalika has wonderful techniques that really help you feel better. My mom praises her every chance she gets.
I have also worked with Nidhi and Prabnoor, and they are excellent as well. They are professional, skilled, and we always have great conversations while they work their magic.
JAG has become like my second home…lol.
A special thank you to Amy. I honestly don’t think the place would run as smoothly without her. She is professional, knowledgeable, and truly an asset to the team.
Nazia at the front desk is my girl! She is always warm, welcoming, and professional. I also enjoy seeing Farma when I walk in. They both brighten my spirit.
I also have to mention the aides, who work very hard to make sure patients are comfortable and doing their exercises properly.
Nick — always smiling with a great sense of humor. He is very professional and very knowledgeable.
Ken — such a gentleman, caring and professional. He is also the best person for gift ideas!
Zenaya — she has become my little Caribbean sister…lol.

The gym is always filled with laughter and great vibes lead by the head therapist, the amazing Jerome ! The staff at JAG Physical Therapy is outstanding—very hands-on, professional, diligent, and consistently positive. The therapists truly care about their patients and provide excellent support throughout treatment.
However, there is a serious concern regarding the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility. The site looks unkept and lacks proper sanitation, which is especially concerning in a healthcare setting. Cleanliness and maintenance should be a priority, and this location would greatly benefit from stricter cleaning standards and regular upkeep. The quality of care deserves to be matched by a clean, well-maintained environment. This is the reason why I dropped them down to a 3STAR

I have been going to Jag One for 10 years now and I must say I get really good results from them. All the therapist I have seen have been very pleasant. I am currently in therapy with them again at 1414 Newkirk and they are so warm, caring and friendly. My therapist Prabhnoor is so caring and hands on. I had knee replacement and she pushes me to reach my goal, 6 weeks and I am already walking without any support and good review from my surgeon. I discovered JAG PT through Google and was very apprehensive at my first visit. However, Jerome, the manager immediately put me at ease with his relaxed, friendly, professional and knowledgeable demeanor. After just a few treatments by Jerome l started to experience fantastic and OUTSTANDING results. He treated SEVERE pain and swelling to my right tibialis muscle using deep tissue massage, electrical stimuli, cuppings, taping, the IASTM technique, the graston technique, and the Bob and Brad massage gun. He was attentive, worked tirelessly and truly cared about relieving my pain. Since then Jerome has treated my lower back and right shoulder and I have had similar outstanding results I HIGHLY recommend Jerome and his friendly and professional staff. A 5 star rating is NOT enough!!!!

Came here twice, first time had to wait for an hour, the second visit I left after 45 min. Got a call immediately when I left to reschedule my “missed” appointment. If they would spend a fraction of the effort spent confirming appointments on checking people in this place would be great. Jerome is amazing but if you don’t have several hours of your day to spend on this, don’t waste your time.

Shout out to the clinical director Jerome who oversees a very positive environment. Drama free!! Love how the therapists work collectively to ensure patients have sufficient time on the various machines and tables. Very collaborative teamwork. I truly appreciate the help I've received after my knee replacement surgery. All the therapists has been phenomenal and supportive. I would like to single out a few. Yoselin has been a beast. Pushing me past my limits and focused on giving me the positive results I'm seeking. Thank you!! I love Meichella's engaging personality and especially the way, in her playful manner, that she ensure everyone does their full workout. Sam is constantly in motion interacting with multiple patients during the session. Thank you Nick & Joey for all the help you've given me following my knee replacement surgery. Our experience at this location is overall Amazing! Every encounter with staff has been pleasant. The service the clinic provides is really good. The attention that the staff I have interacted with provide is amazing. Toe Surgery landed me at JAG. 3X/ week. I just finished 3 weeks and my recovery is fabulous. I saw daily/weekly improvements and their guided process and friendly, effective staff of assistants and therapists exceeded my expectations. I always have an exceptional experience at JAG-One Physical Therapy Newkirk! From the moment I walk in, I receive a warm greeting at the front desk, where they even know my name. This really sets the tone of the service I’m about to receive. Even María from the cleaning team is happy to see me and genuinely looks happy to work here.
The physical therapist aides, Meichella and Raul, are a truly welcoming and engaging team. Meichella always goes above and beyond, even consoling me during a moment of extreme pain – it's evident they genuinely care about their patients. Honestly hey say you shouldn’t have favorites but I love the PT aides here.
Jerome, leads an amazing team! He exudes infectious energy and has an incredible bedside manner. He treats his patients like family, providing realistic insights into the recovery process with grace. I had ACL surgery done in June 2022 by Dr. Heitman and he did a fantastic job! Jerome Cabahug and his staff at JAG helped me have an exceptional recovery process. Each and everyone of them were very thorough in everything they did. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. Physical Therapist are attentive to the needs of the patient. I had my left hip replaced and they are carefully working with me to ensure they do not break the protocols that they need to follow for my type of procedure. Approximately the 6th week of therapy and I walking with a cane,but my balance, mobility, and confidence is 100% .

The office is clean the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I trust them with my rehabilitation 100%.Jerome is great and pretty much knows everyone on a first name basis,he truly makes you feel like your their only patient.

JAG at Newkirk is the best PT I've ever had (even better than a PT facility in Mt Sinai, NYC - truly night and day). They strive to reverse problems (or get as close as is possible) vs simply relieving symptoms. I received the best care possible. I came here based on their 5 star online reviews. My experience exceeded expectations - by far and away! And, Jerome is absolutely the best! He's a truly gifted and exceptional practitioner.
However, due to their popularity it does get kind of crowded at times. So sometimes there's a bit of a wait to get in to your appointment. But, it's well worth the wait. Bring a book, a phone, or watch the big screen TV with movies they show.

Good morning to the staff at JAG -One physical therapy I have to admit I had no idea what I was getting myself into with the physical therapy sessions however after the second visit the entire staff from the front desk to the therapist even the cleaning staff made my compliance with PT easier because their dedication to what they do. Saloni is a fantastic therapist. She’s experienced in treating and developing routines specific to your needs. She is very knowledgeable and current in her field. She always gives 110% to make sure each patient reaches his/her goal potential. Saloni along with the other equally talented therapists makes JAG One my chosen place for therapy. I have referred my family members and they too were satisfied. I f you need PT, be assured you will receive the best care and desired outcome here.

I have been coming to JAG One at 1414 Newkirk Ave since November 2021. I like coming here as my therapists are professional, efficient and the place is spotless. It runs like a well oiled machine. It has a very positive atmosphere. If you need Physical therapy you should only come here.

I receive great treatment at JAG. The care one receives from staff there is very attentive. They take their time in asking questions and explaining what is being done for your specific needs. Everyone there wears masks and the therapy rooms are constantly cleaned. Luckily for me, the location of the place wound up being close to where I live. Should be back to work soon.Would recommend anyone to go there Two thumbs up!!!!! ??
