Anna Palkin

Anna received her physical therapy degree from Daemen College in Buffalo, New York. Being a competitive swimmer while growing up, she took an interest in sports and rehabilitation early which led her to a career in physical therapy. After graduating college, she began her professional career in New York City, working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic with emphasis on sports rehabilitation. Her experience there enabled her to advance clinically and professionally.

Anna developed a particular interest in rehabilitation following ACL reconstruction and was able to hone her skills while working with school-age soccer players, recreational adult soccer and rugby teams. She enjoys teaching physical therapy students as a part of her clinical experience and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Anna received certification of Advanced Hip Clinician from Hospital for Special Surgery and continues to advance her clinical skills in the area of hip preservation.

Outside of the clinic, Anna enjoys traveling around the country and Europe. She enjoys adventure trips, while experiencing local cuisine and wines, and beach vacations, as well as just enjoying family time in upstate New York.

Fumbling clown in the front desk wants the patient to run the phones with insurance to get authorizations & approvals ... Despite submitting all required creditinals on July 12th, that's FULL 12 days prior to first scheduled PT visit on July 24th! & despite coverage by an overlapping insurance plans, guaranteeing coverage & payments every time for any service provided in the SAME JAG facility last year, and frankly elsewhere, never had an issue with two perfectly functional overlapping insurance plans. Yet the facility saw it fit to interrupt my therapy visits pending hearing from an insurance they didn't even bother to speak with, claiming "I called the numbers on the insurance card, but they don't answer the phone" 🤡'Mike' contrary to your repetitive ridiculous claim "I call but no one answers the phone!" they answered everytime I picked the phone & dialed!! case in point the flurry of messages, from escalated levels in the insurance company, they left on your answering machine on Friday 08/09 .... 🤔Some places turn toxic by a single ungainly clown unable to do their job or interface with the working environment they are in ....

Incredibly knowledgeable and professional practice. Walked in with a very specific issue but the staff thoroughly evaluated me to identify a number of deeper, long-term ones that allowed more comprehensive and encompassing treatment. Working with the team made me feel better than I have in 5 years. Worked mostly with Nicolette, but would recommend her and Anna both.

For PT needs, I recommend JAG Physical Therapy (North) in Hoboken. Anna Palkin is highly-skilled, easy to work with, and professional. Every team member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive.They developed an effective program for me, and consistently monitored my progress, taking care to step-up the exercises in a safe manner. I felt confident to test the boundaries of my capabilities in my day-to-day activities without fear of injuring myself again. All of my questions were addressed in depth, and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment process. In my experience, everyone there (including the clientele) was polite and respectful, making the healing process a pleasant and positive journey.

I had an amazing experience at Jag-one Hoboken. I tore my ACL in April, and for the last 10 months I have been working with Nicolette. She was great at explaining exercising and critiquing my movements until I did it correctly. I had a great support system from them throughout my entire recovery. She helped me get stronger, while still enjoying the exercises I was doing. She is absolutely amazing at what she does! She always had new things for me to try out, and would push me just enough to get better everyday. Nicolette has prepared me to return to my sports. Aside from being an amazing physical therapist, she is an amazing person and always made me smile. She cares about each and everyone of her patients. She motivated me to keep working hard, which is what I did. I would not be where I am today without her. The entire Jag-one staff is amazing and so kind. Shoutout to Ben, you are the best! Thank you for being so kind. I am so grateful for everything they have done for me. I am going to miss Jag-one so much, they have made such a big impact on my life. I have come out of this injury stronger than ever thanks to Nicolette. I can’t recommend Jag-one enough!

I recommend the physical therapists and staff at Jag One Hoboken location. I’ve been there a couple of times for different problems and have always felt that I am in great professional care. They’ve always been on top of scheduling sessions ahead of time, sending reminders, tackling insurance approvals and of course ramping up on exercises pain free.

I just finished a 3 month course of PT with Nicolette. Not only does she know what she's doing, she always had an eye on me to ensure I was doing what I needed to do and doing it correctly. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and Nicolette's guidance was always attentive, caring and patient. I enjoyed my visits no matter how challenging, and it is because of the interactions I had with Nicolette and the whole team. People really do make the difference.

Clean, well-equipped, knowledgeable therapists and staff. I had plantar fasciitis, a common injury amongst professional dancers, and they knew just what to do. Bonus: they’re really good at taping, if you want to continue your sport while healing.

JAG-ONE was on the list of PT places which I got from my doctor and I simply chose it by location and the fact that they were in network for my insurance. After that everything, from scheduling the first appointment to follow up recommendations and exercises, went perfectly. Gianna Pepe and her crew were a real pleasure to work with. I truly enjoyed coming to PT, doing exercises, getting the prescribed “hands on” time, and optional but very helpful “cooling” with ice pads at the end. I felt that I was gradually getting my strength back, effectively and in a safe way. If I had a concern or question, it was properly addressed. I would definitely and highly recommend Gianna and JAG-ONE in Hoboken. The place is well equipped, spacious and has excellent cleaning practices.
