Company Expands Advanced Healthcare Access with New Location

Bridgewater, N.J. (January 3, 2024) – JAG Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 142 locations across the Northeast, announces the opening of their new Hoboken (South), New Jersey location, commemorated with a ribbon cutting event. This new location is JAG Physical Therapy's second in the city, and is located at 59 Newark Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030.

Building upon the success of their initial location in Hoboken, JAG Physical Therapy is thrilled to announce their expansion in Hudson County. This growth allows them to better serve the community's increasing needs while maintaining their commitment to offering exceptional healthcare services. A recent joint ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in collaboration with RWJBarnabas Health (RWJ), marked the official opening of the new state-of-the-art facility.

“We are thrilled that Michael Prilutsky, executive Vice President of RWJ and Mayor Bhalla had the vision to bring this one-stop shop healthcare facility to Hoboken,” says John Gallucci Jr., President & CEO of JAG Physical Therapy. “In Hoboken South, Clinical Director Gianna Pepe leads our clinic, providing care for athletes, seniors, and anyone experiencing pain or discomfort. We are excited to expand our presence in Hoboken with this second location, marking our ninth facility in Hudson County.”

The facility is overseen by Clinical Director Gianna Pepe, a former Division I athlete at the University of Maryland. Board-certified as a physical therapist, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Seton Hall University in 2021. With a focus on sports-related therapy, Gianna draws on her athletic background to enhance her expertise in addressing injuries and meeting patients' needs.

“I’m really excited by the energy I see, and what I see is just the beginning of a very healthy partnership,” says Mayor Ravi Bhalla. “The sky is the limit in terms of our potential. This is a growing community in Hoboken and our healthcare community is on the rise.”

The Hoboken facility will offer a range of services to patients, including physical therapy, cupping therapy, assessments for neurological conditions and concussions, and treatment for orthopedic and sports injuries. Furthermore, they will provide instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques (IASTM), services related to women's health, sports medicine, spine rehabilitation, as well as balance and gait training.
