I highly recommend Jag Physical Therapy situated in Red Bank. I have needed PT twice and Matthew Smelas at Jag is the only physical therapist I will trust to ensure that I receive the treatment I require. The first time I had PT with Matt, I had injured my lower back and was in a lot of pain and had great difficulty in performing daily activities of living (tying my shoelaces, picking up my shoes and so on). The second injury was to my right knee which resulted in further injury to my left knee as well and severely affected my mobility to the point where I had difficulty standing to take a shower. Matt was very gentle in assessing the condition of my back and knees and tailored my PT to not only improve my mobility but also took into account my overall health and well-being. He is kind and considerate and encouraged me to improve my mobility while never pushing me past what pain and discomfort I was able to physically endure. My sister has also received PT from Matt and will not go to another Physical Therapist after having several therapists who caused her more severe injury by pushing her to do exercises despite her complaining of severe pain. I can’t speak highly enough of Matt as an excellent Physical Therapist. Moreover, I highly commend the staff at Jag (Jen and Hayes) who are professional, courteous, considerate, and welcoming. The facility is well maintained, and everything is repeatedly sanitized. If you require physical therapy, you will not regret going to Jag PT in Red Bank.

I am currently receiving physical therapy with Crest, now Jag One, at the Red Bank location. My experience has also been exceptional. Read all these five star reviews! This type of professionalism and care doesn't happen by accident. Excellence is achieved by hard work, from a dedicated wonderful staff, guided by a superb director, Matt Smelas. Do I have to say anything more?

I recently required Physical Therapy and chose Crest Physical Therapy - now Jag in Red Bank NJ. I had been there 10 years ago for shoulder rehab and was so impressed then that I went back when I needed PT again. Although some staff has changed in the 10 years they still espouse the excellence and knowledge that you want in a therapist. My PT was Amy Taranto and she was great. You can bet that I'll seek her out again if the need ever arises.

The facility is small and immaculate. In this pandemic era the focus is also on patient safety as well as therapy.the facility is spotless and every soft touch or hard surface is cleaned and disinfected repeatedly

The staff are friendly , professional , caring , and seem to genuinely be invested in the patients with everyone working as a cohesive team to provide the best possible care. Very attentive and creative. Not your run of the mill , rubber stamp / rinse and repeat therapy here.

Carla McMenamy has gone out of her way to treat me using combinations of treatment methods and all her skill on my road to recovery. Working closely with my physician and other therapist to achieve the common goal of a full recovery. Carla has also been very understanding and accommodating of my schedule and I know I found the right person for the job in Carla.Carla is highly skilled as both a Physical Therapist and also Occupational Therapy

I would recommend this facility and the talented staff here without hesitation.

Matt and the team at Crest Red Bank are wonderful. Matt quickly understood my condition and developed and took me through a regimen of exercises to improve my condition. Each week he pushed a little more, gave encouraging feedback (and critical feedback when warranted) and my condition is definitely improving. I highly recommend Matt and the team.
