The Ferry Hawks received a fun make-over for “Crayola Experience Day”
The Staten Island FerryHawks are gearing up to host their first-ever “Crayola Experience Day” on Sunday at Community Park and they’ve already recruited some youngsters from the YMCA’s youth camp to help. Team officials joined campers at the South Shore ‘Y’ on Tuesday to help decorate jerseys, which will be worn in Sunday’s game against the visiting Lancaster Barnstormers.
The FerryHawks, in partnership with JAG Physical Therapy, brought special edition team crayons to campers, who then got to work on their own unique designs. Each jersey will have its own unique color scheme, giving every player their own one-of-a-kind design, courtesy of the youth artists at the ‘Y’.

We look forward to having them at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park on Aug. 28 for Crayola Experience Day and to see their creations on the field!”
