Joseph Gallagher is a physical therapist and athletic trainer based in Pennsville, NJ. He is the clinical director of JAG PT Pennsville. Joe earned his masters of physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been serving the Pennsville area as a physical therapist since 1999. Joe also holds a bachelor’s degree in health education with a specialization in athletic training from Pennsylvania State University. He has been a certified athletic trainer since 1989 with experience working as a clinical, collegiate, and high school settings. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Joe’s clinical interests include orthopedics, sports physical therapy and industrial medicine but he has a vast amount of experience treating populations / specialties including geriatrics, pediatrics, vestibular and neurologic.
Joe holds an international sports professional workers compensation certification which is an evidence-based approach designed to establish a standard of knowledge and care for healthcare professionals treating patient on workers compensation programs. Joe holds a certification in ASTYM, a treatment approach utilized in soft tissue injury management.
