This Ongoing Corporate Partnership Strengthens Commitment to Student-Athletes and Faculty Through Continued Support, Community Engagement, and Sponsorship of Upcoming Charity-Focused Events
Bridgewater, N.J. (November 21, 2024) – JAG Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 150 locations across the Northeast, today announced the renewal of their ongoing partnership with Princeton University. Building on a successful collaboration that began in 2021, JAG Physical Therapy will continue as the Official Physical Therapy Partner of Princeton Athletics.
The company will continue to assist Princeton Athletics in the shared mission of enhancing the health and wellness of its student-athlete population of over 1,000 players, among the largest and most successful programs in the NCAA Division 1. JAG Physical Therapy will continue providing injury prevention content, educational programs and support with university events.
“Princeton University is a beacon of academic and athletic excellence, having produced over 160 Olympians and more than 200 championship titles, and we are proud to continue our partnership as their official physical therapy provider,” said John Gallucci Jr., President & CEO of JAG Physical Therapy. “With the top-tier support and resources that our team has provided to the athletic program over the last three years, Princeton’s Tigers have been well supported in injury prevention. We look forward to continuing to provide the best health outcomes in the coming years and supporting one of New Jersey’s finest college athletics departments.”
“We are excited to extend our partnership with JAG Physical Therapy as a corporate partner to support the health and well-being of our student-athletes,” said John Mack '00, Ford Family Director of Athletics. “Their dedicated team of therapists and trainers has helped our athletic program enhance its injury prevention efforts, allowing our athletes to perform at their best both on and off the field. We are proud to have JAG Physical Therapy as a trusted partner in the Princeton Athletics family.”
JAG Physical Therapy is excited to sponsor the upcoming 2024 Tiger Trot for Hunger, a 5K run/walk event scheduled for November 22. This charity-focused marathon, organized in collaboration with Princeton Athletics, aims to raise awareness and funds for local hunger relief efforts. The event underscores JAG Physical Therapy’s dedication to community engagement and its commitment to supporting health and wellness initiatives beyond the clinic.
In December, JAG Physical Therapy and Princeton Athletics will continue their joint philanthropic initiatives with the annual Teddy Bear Toss, taking place at the Men's and Women's Hockey games on December 6th and 7th, and Men's and Women's Basketball games on December 10th and 11th. This charity-focused event is widely known as a holiday promotion that encourages fans to bring stuffed toys to a series of sporting events, with over 1,000 teddy bears donated to the Greater Somerset County YMCA at last year’s event. This annual initiative exemplifies the collective efforts to inspire the spirit of generosity during the holiday season.
